Dr. Peter V. Schmidt was previously the head of the Autonomous Technology Group for Daimler Truck for three years. Before leading that organization, he managed the strategy organization for Daimler Truck, where his focus areas included the Chinese market, autonomous technology, electrification, connectivity and digital transformation.
Martin Daum has been Member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding AG since July 12, 2021 and has been Chairman of Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding AG since December 1, 2021. He is also Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG.

In this function, he is responsible for the region North America and the brands Freightliner, Western Star and Thomas Built Buses. He is also Member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG.
Prior to becoming CFO at Daimler Truck, Stefan served as the Senior Vice President of Aftermarket, where he led DT’s aftermarket functions, including customer experience, dealer service, distribution network development, parts sales, marketing and distribution, Alliance Parts, and Detroit Reman. Under his guidance, DT led an uptime revolution that both achieved its original goal of the three-day turnaround on vehicle repairs, and then reset that goal to 24 hours or less. And, under his leadership, DT is already achieving that targeted metric for almost 70 percent of repairs.
